There are only thirty species belonging to Class Myxini, all of which are marine. They find their food by scavenging. Class Myxini is made up of the Hagfish. They have a skull of cartilage, and are jawless. They have no paired fins. They retain the notochord. They have kidneys and gills, and produce slime. They reproduce sexually and externally with separate sexes.
